Get to know me!

Presently, I am a registered nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. Before working in the unit, I worked in the Emergency Room, Recovery Room and in the field of Psychology. I've been a nurse for ten years. In those ten years, I've obtained a lot of experience and that experience has been translated to my books.

I haven't always been a nurse. My first degree was in Human Services with a minor in Criminal Justice. I love learning. I believe the day we stop learning we die.

I grew up in Thomson Ga. It's a small town West of Augusta Ga. For those of you who don't know where that is, it's where the Master's Golf Tournament is played. Golf is a sport my husband and I have played but we have not been lucky enough to meet Tiger Woods.

Favorites Past time:

Reading= I read a lot of books by different authors. This is not only a good way to find a favorite author but it is also a learning tool for me.

Writing= is a joy. It allows me to express myself.

Crafts= I love sitting down with a good cross-stitch pattern. I have given away quite a few as presents. Sometimes I sit down and cross-stitch when my writing startes to furstrate me.

I swim, jog and walk to keep my heart, body as well as my mind healthy.

I love to collect things: pens, music boxes and figurines.

Spending time with my husband and family is by far my favorite of all passtimes.
